Despite stiffer competition, "The Bachelor" special up in key demos versus last season premiere
ABC has announced that Wednesday's special edition of "The Bachelor," which was a lead-up to the series that dealt primarily with the casting of the program, produced solid demographic numbers in one of the most competitive hours so far this season. The September 25th airing of "The Bachelor" earned second place in the hour among Women 18-34 (5.8/14) and Teens 12-17 (2.8/9).
